MOTHER’S AFFECTION
Long time ago, there was a tradition that when our parents was very old they was impotent and his/her son/daughter will brought to the woods and stay there until they died. Old men received this kind of treatment because they do this to their parents while they are young.
One day, Ado decided to bring her mother to the woods because she was now very old. Aleng Amparo was ill and weak so it means that she will serve as a heavy cross of her son in his whole life.
During sunset, Ado carried his mother going to the woods because of the said tradition and her mother agreed on it. When he and his mother entered the woods, Aleng Amparo cleaned their way by cutting some stem of the trees that served as a barrier on their way. Ado noticed it and he asked his mother, “mother, why are you doing these?” her mother answered, “so that you will not lost your way and it will serve as your guide as you go home”
Ado, staring on his mother’s face didn’t feel the tears falling down on his face and he then carried the old woman. “Where are we going?” her mother asked. “We will go home” Ado said. “I don’t want to leave you alone here in the forest.” Ado said. From this moment, this tradition vanished
